QZRDSNTP is the sbs that the IBM time sync job runs in.  At a previous
company I worked for we used this, it updated time every 5 minutes.  No
problems in 3 years other than when going to V5R1 the system generated a
false "backplane failure" right after a time sync, an APAR was opened and a
PTF was issued to fix the problem.

One of the problems with adjusting the system time regularly
(e.g. with real-time input from a "gadget") is that the internal
system time is also used as the basis for generating *unique*
timestamps (some fiddling with the lower bits). This function
would probably not work anymore if you constantly adjust
the system time up or down by small amounts.
