If I wanted to issue an REXEC to my iSeries from a W2K PC as a batch
process, how can I automatically enter a password?

For example, if I do this:

     rexec as400.dilgard.com DSPLIBL

I get asked for username AND passord. If I enter this:

     rexec as400.dilgard.com -l jeff DSPLIBL

the iSeries will use JEFF as the user and ask for a password. I want it
to be automatic. I tried this:

     rexec as400.dilgard.com -l jeff DSPLIBL <q.txt

where q.txt has the password in it. No luck.

So how would I do that? I'm aware of the security issue, but the actual
user ID will be one with an initial menu of *SIGNOFF.

Thanks.
