Tom,
Are these jobs idle? I had this same problem when a spammer
found that I had open relay set on. SMTP increased the number of jobs to
handle the load of mail the spammer was trying to send through my
ISERIES. HTH

Subject: Re: Anybody know what this SMTP joblog entry is telling me?

Just following up to keep y'all updated, I have:
 1 job named QTSMTPBRCL
 1 job named QTSMTPBRSR
 1 job named QTSMTPCLTD
 243 jobs named QTSMTPCLTP
 1 job named QTSMTPSRVD
 110 jobs named QTSMTPSRVP

I've run the DSPDSTLOG, but I see no router entries at all. I have the
dstq
QSMTP on hold, but nothing is showing up in there.

Obviously, something is misconfigured but I haven't a clue of where to
start
looking.
