I'm using an SLR5 drive I had lying around. It's reported as a type 63A0,
and there's something about the microcode the system doesn't like (I get a
message to call my hardware service provider at every IPL), but it works
fine.

I converted three 6607s I had in a 9402-400 - a friend had three spare drive
trays. (Otherwise, they'd have cost $300 each! OUCH!)
