Sounds like you're on WRKMBRPDM and want to run a command without moving
your cursor to the command line.  I like to hit F10 to get a full command
line.  The bonus is that it ignores anything you've keyed in the option
fields.  It doesn't return your cursor the the line you were on when you
return from the command line, though.
