When doing a select on a multi-member logical, SQL wants to copy all the
members' records into a temporary table.  That really sucks when there's 15
million records in each of 12 members...... Vern's ALIAS suggestion is
probably the way to go.  It's hard to maintain the alias definitions unless
the members are somewhat static.
