Sorry, I couldn't resist this one any more, it reminded me of the Bible
verse about the Anti-christ from Daniel 7: 24, "...And he shall...think to
change times and laws..." I always wondered about that "times" part....<g>

Vladimir Lenin early on when the Communists were still called Bolsheviks
tried to change the "week" to ten days to get better productivity in the
workers' paradise. It just did not work at all and they gave up.

One president in Honduras (my wife's country of origin) became the national
laughingstock because he said (true quote, she insists and others have
confirmed it) he wanted to abolish Sundays to get more production out of the
country! (That was the "Liberal Party", by the way--<ducks for cover>)..
