If you want to end a job and are not interested in the job log, then you
should specify LOGLMT(0) which will prevent any further entries being
written to the job log. You can issue another ENDJOB on this job and
specify this to prevent it writing any more entries. Otherwise there is
the ENDJOBABN command.

Subject: How do I end a job that is ending?

Hi All,
We have a job on our system that has a status of END. It is an
interactive
job that got disconnected when a dial in line dropped. This job has been
running on the box since Sunday evening and just keeps chewing up CPU.
Right now WRKACTJOB shows about 40%. We have been trying to end it but to
no avail. Fortunately the joblog was set to wrap so it isn't filling up
the
disk with joblogs.

Also does anyone know what the + means next to the job in WRACTJOB?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA
Ron
