I think IBM should just change the url for their "new improved search" to
"www.google.com" and put their efforts into making sure that all IBM web
pages get indexed by Google.

Google isn't confused (like IBM is) about the integration of IBM products.
They don't have any turf wars going on, like IBM does.  They don't have any
"that isn't my job" problems with their search engine.

I always search for IBM stuff in Google.  I put "site:ibm.com" as one of the
search arguments and get a fairly complete list of what is available on
_ALL_ of the "ibm.com" sites.
