SSH Sentinel (www.ssh.com) is free for non-corporate use.
www.homenethelp.com has a nice tutorial on setting it up with things like
the LinkSys BEFVP41 VPN router with 4-port switch. Works on all versions of
Windows.

I could not get connected to the LinkSys using the MS free client. I've not
found anything on the net that directly answers how to do this. Anyone done
this?

Thanks

Vern

FYI

After having some intermittant connection problems with my W98SE and DUN 1.3
I downloaded and installed the free DUN 1.4 from m$ and the problems went
away. I get connected quickly every time. Much better.

Also, MS has a free download of an IPSec VPN client for W9x (same as WXP)
and 128bit encryption available as well. IMHO IPSec is better than PPTP but
there has been no free client available for Win9x folk.
