I found the problem. If you see field DYAA4C is three digits long. I checked
variable &SHIP_YEAR in my CL and it was two characters long. Oops!!

I apologize for any inconvenience.

Best regards and have a great day!

Management to
                                         use Query/400 (RANGE)

Hi list!

I know how to send parms to the query from the STRQMQRY command, but I have a
problem with RANGE (I guess). My query record selection is like this:

       DYAA4C EQ 102
AND DYAA4D RANGE 10 12
AND DYAA39 GE 1020731

Is this correct?
STRQMQRY QMQRY(PABQ02) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) +
OUTFILE(QTEMP/PABQ02) ALWQRYDFN(*ONLY) +
SETVAR((SHIP_YEAR &SHIP_YEAR) +
     (SFMONTH &SFMONTH) +
     (STMONTH &STMONTH) +
     (PRM_DATE &PRM_DATE))

This is not working. If I put the parameters directly on the query, it pulls
the data correctly.
What is wrong?

Thanks in advance.
