Don't use the HOSTS file!  It is evil and will only cause you problems
in the future.

Will there be any name resolution for internal, private IPs?  If not,

jsut use your ISPs DNS server for queries.

If you want to name resolve internal, private IPs, setup DNS on your
AS/400.
