Enclose your command definition.

Is the purpose of this to be like a RTV... command? If so, I've written a
few of these. None of them use CL. I have a suspicion as to what your
problem is but I want to see your command definition first, and the
purpose of this command second.

Subject: Command works with CL CPP and not with an RPG CPP

Hi list!

I do not see why but I have a very simple command with two parms (the
first one
with my input value and the second one with a record status: *ACTIVE or
*INACTIVE). My CPP is a CL. This CL calls the RPG program that do the
record
check; I am sending the same two parameters (both *char). If I use this
technique, everything is fine. If I do not want to use the CL and use the
RPG
program directly, then my second field is empty. I am debugging the RPG
program
and the first parm is being read correctly and my second field is empty,
the way
it should be. The thing is that after the RPG program runs, I should have
*ACTIVE or *INACTIVE status in that second field. Why it works on the CL
but
not on the RPG? I am not touching the RPG program for nothing.

Thanks in advance.
