RE: Changing an Overlay - help me make it go away!

Barb,

Several things to check.

Make sure the pc file is being replaced. Sometimes Word can
do a save to a different location from the original file.
Checking the file date time on the pc and the location could
verify this.

ftp can be used to copy the file to the AS/400 your shared
folder approach sounds fine.

Check the UPLOAD file for multi members or a difference in
size, date/time to make sure it is being replaced.

Finally check the method of overlay application:
1) on the print file itself?
2) on a file override?
Validate the location

One outside possibility is if the program itself stays
active in which case the QRPLOBJ version would be active.
Normally print programs dont stay active forever so this
is the least likely.

I would guess the pc file is the issue (from problems I
have had)
