I think you're likely barking up the wrong tree by blaming it on Linksys.
I've seen the problem occur with Cisco, Netgear, 3Com, Intel, and even IBM
network equipment.

It's also not surprising that Linksys wouldn't know what you're talking
about, because the problem only seems to exhibit itself in 5250 emulation
software (CA Express in my experience).

We were able to minimize the number of occurances, but not eliminate the
problem altogether. I can't clearly recall everything that we did, but I
should have some notes still available. Contact me off list if you need a
copy.
