I think you're getting closer.  The only problem is that the https protocol
BY DEFAULT uses port 443.  So perhaps if you configured SSL on your [rimary
instance to use port 443 rather than port 2010 it might work.

P.S. I know this is a pain.  It took me an entire day to figure it out, and
I still don't consider myself an expert - just a mechanic who managed to
replace the air filter <grin>.
