Bruce,

The row is all char, no varchar even! Only a primary key over the first
three columns. When I said ops, I was thinking of the folks under the stairs
that run the beastie! But you have me thinking, I am not using a cursor
because the table will be empty, just doing an INSERT, but then I associate
cursors more with selects and updates! Maybe it was just a fluke!
