I need start and check the status of a PPP connection profile from a
program.

Is it possible to use SNDINQMSG parm of STRTCPPTP to determine if the
profile actually came active, perhaps by receiving messages from the QTCP
message queue?

It looks like the QtocRtvPPPCnnPrf API format PRFR0100 will retrieve the
status on V5, but this API does not appear to be available prior to V5R1.

Looks like for V4R5 I would have to use QDCLCFGD or RTVCFGSTS with the line
name, and then just assume that if the line is active, then any routes would
also be ready to use.

Thanks,
-Marty
