Dan,

We've used it to run complex interactive programs in batch without
having to go through the whole jobstream and remove all of the screen
references. For example, we front-end the BPCS JIT posting process by
capturing the relatively small amount of data for each posting into a
file, then submit a job that uses TNAPI to effectively key all of the
data in, in batch.

No changes to existing BPCS programs, automatically inherit any BPCS
fixes. We did a similar thing with inventory postings from data
captured in a spreadsheet.

You send keystrokes to TNAPI and it returns the screens. A bit like
EHLLAPI if you've used that, but all on the 400.

Cheers
Robin

Al,

Could you describe this program in a little more detail? Maybe explain
the potential uses? I think I have an idea, and may have a future need,
but just want to learn more at this point. I searched the archives and
didn't find much, just that Carl G. is hosting the download.

TIA.
