     thanx for your response (i've been busy & away for a few days).

unfortunately your example made no difference.

After much hair pulling I found out what my problem was - the domain I was
supplying wasn't correct and therefore the browser was correctly ignoring it.
Instead of domain=wellboro, it should have been domain=wellboro:8500

I simply forgot to add the port number ......
