I have recently installed v5r1 on a second-user AS/400; I had a wonderful
time configuring it (I know, I am a sad individual), but cannot get my
TCPPTP profiles start; they crash with an MCH1210 error in QTOCPPFM, APAR
data is created; I have reported this to IBM via ECS - not a known problem
(a very useful reply, NOT). I have scoured the web, it seems there are more
PTFs for TCPIP and PTP that fleas on a scabby dog. I have applied the
latest Cum PTFs, the symptom string and SRC identify 3 PTFs I already have
applied.

My next step is to save the APAR data and post it to IBM; I do not believe
that this will solve my problem quickly, though this 'new' system is
required to go live urgently.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps someone on the list has already
been here and solved it or found a work-around? Please reply while I still
have some hair left :-)

Kind Regards
