Message . . . . : Volume &1 cannot be duplicated by this system.

Cause . . . . . : Volume &1 cannot be duplicated by this system because it

  is owned by system &2.

Recovery . . . : Execute the DUPMEDBRM command for volume &1 on system
&2.

Try running the command from System B. If you can't do that you can change
the owning system with: CHGMEDBRM VOL(VOLID) SYSNAME(APPN.SYSTEMA)

If you can't make it work from the owning system then use:
DUPTAP FROMDEV(TAPMLB01) TODEV(TAPMLB02) FROMVOL(VOLID1) TOVOL(VOLID2)

Subject: BRMS tape duplication.

--
Does anyone know how to duplicate a tape from a different system using BRMS.

I have a tape created on System B That shows up in the media inventory of
System A. I try to duplicate the tape and it errors with BRM15A2 Volume
GS8052 cannot be duplicated by this system.

Thanks

Chris Beck
