What I want to do (for our various "trouble tickets", non-working
phone, can't get my pages, cell phone won't work at my grandma's, My
DirectTV isn't working, etc. is to record the address (i.e. latitude and
longitude) in the database for the "trouble ticket" and then using a
"Mapping package" graph out the various types of troubles on a map of
our area.

:Not sure "who" but lat/long can be had from more than one
:source, but trying to tie that to a zip is going to be "close
:enough" and not dead accurate. Many trucking companies now use
:real time GPS on their vehicles so that they can track
:movement of goods and "speed" drivers. I would ask around
:those kinda guys as well as their "trade rags"...
:
:The US Post Office "might" also have a "similar" thing in
:their little stock of goodies they sell.
:
:Ever notice that the web "map" companies always ask for zip
:code to show you the correct map ???? They "might" be using lat/long
:
:What are you trying to do ???
