BASIC will run in the *M36. The *M36 is no longer supported above V4R4.

The BASIC compiler was removed at the RISC CPUs (v3r6). Compiled program might
still run

Subject: Basic on OS/400 in S36e or M36?

I have a customer who is interested in converting from a 236 to an AS/400
running in either S36e or M36 mode. Anyone know if the Basic language is
available?
