Host on Demand and HTTP Server ---

Hopefully someone out there is more familular with HOD than I am ...

Problem is the a URL of http://host.name/hod/hod.html works as it triggers
the rule
pass  /hod/*   /qibm/.............../*

However, when I force a default for the site by entering a map, HOD comes up
but the
error log tells me that the gif's and other parts of the page are not
displayed due to
authorization errors.

The new statement is:

map   /    /hod/hod.html
which then triggers the same pass as above...

Since it's the same pass statement I am a little confused, about why the
gifs are not being displayed ?
