Hi Steve

I think the iSeries hosting NT is maybe one of the worst strategic
decisions for a product I have seen.

I don't buy the argument that this is a form of co-existence, it results
from the kind of sycophantic thinking that came up with the "does Windows
better then Windows" campaign. Look where that product ended up.

All both of these "strategies" achieve is to encourage people to come up
with a Windows answer instead of an AS/400 answer because they accept the
alternative rather than challenging it.

For the sake of trying to come up with an analogy I'd say this was
equivalent to installing termites in your house so you can control them
better - it's fine till they build that second uncontrolled colony...

Of course, others may have a different opinion :)
