If you want the RUNRMTCMD to submit to "batch" or release the requesting job
place a "&" at
the end with a space in front of it.

Another method is to have a CRON job that runs a Perl Scrpt or Unix Command
that checks every
minute or 5 mins, etc. for the file and then runs a .sh, SQL Loader, Perl
Script for the file
this way the User/Password for FTP could be restricted to only puting a file
to a certain
directory.

|
|
|
|Got a dumb FTP question:
|
|I'm FTPing to a unix box from a 400 (Client is migrating to unix).
|
|After I've completed the FTP, I want to kickoff a script on the unix
|box... What's the syntax for that?
|
|Basically, I want to submit a batch task on the unix box after
|the puts...
|
|Thanks!
