I think that if DDM is proving unreliable though, is there perhaps an
underlying comms/network problem? I have found DDM to be rock-steady in the
past.

If your APPC comms is unreliable, how about using TCP/IP, i.e. FTP to do the
file transfer; it is a little more tricky to automate, but not really
difficult.

We have a file (with 2 logicals) that is the same on three different
systems, and so we have to maintain three separate files. How can we
synchronize this file across 3 systems? And we want it to be reliable but
would highly prefer to not spend money on a program. DDM doesn't seem to be
reliable across all the systems. Could RSF be used somehow?
