As with the mailing list, you have to post from a subscribed email address
... so unless subscribe with an obfuscated email address, it's not
possible..

Actually, spiders don't find news servers ... they don't connect the same
way that web pages do.  If someone wants to farm a news group, then they
have to do it explicitly.
