Yes thanks.  It's amazing how good a purge can be :)  Still I'm not happy

Well, the things one learns. Thanks.  I don't know if I ever knew that but
I certainly don't remember it.

It has been over 10 years since I did stuff on any form of *nix and I was
young enough to think it was pretty cool with all its arcane incantations
and how making it work was only for those who had passed the initiation
ceremony (chickens and goats notwithstanding) but now I'm older and wiser
and spoiled rotten by the S/38 and AS/400 which are simply easier to work
with.  I resent being forced by Rochester to step back 10 or more years
simply because they are trying to save money by dumping *nix applications
directly onto the AS/400.  They are hiring Unix weenies who don't know any
better, retiring the people who do know how this stuff should be done, and
truly irritating customers in the process.
