Adam,

Are the users already on Express or just Client Access? If they're already
on Express and you upgrade from v4r4 to v5r1, then I've seen no issues with
that. On the older version of CA, though, I believe that I did upgrade one
user from CA v3r2 to CAE v4r4 and that seemed to work fine.

I have set up silent installation, but I agree Adam that uninstalling the
old version would be the problem.

Would you be open to just upgrading the current verion and not uninstalling
the previous? You could set up silent installation for this easily since
you
wouldn't be uninstalling.
