I know there have been changes to MIDRANGE.COM so the first paragraph was
not big deal, but then the pulse REALLY picked up with that first line in
the second paragraph, and then in the next breath I thought "April Fools"
and headed to the bottom of the email, relaxed, and continued reading...

Pretty funny !

Folks:

After much consideration and deliberation, I've decided that MIDRANGE.COM
will be undergoing a radical change in direction.

Effective today, all AS400 and iSeries mailing lists and resources will be
terminated.  I feel that the AS400 & iSeries platform really do not have a
future in the computing industry.

I will be dedicating the site to supporting Macintosh integration with
Microsoft servers and applications.  You'll soon see mailing lists for
support of OSX and SQL Server, OSX Office Applications, and the like.

Don't bother trying to convince me otherwise ... I have seen the light and
know the future belongs to Mac & Microsoft.

Additionally, in order to fund the new endeavor, I have arranged to sell
the current mailing subscriber lists to "The UCE Coalition".  This
organization promises to send everyone some wonderful deals on prescription
drugs, educational resources, and adult entertainment sites.  They have
promised me that everyone will be given an opportunity to opt-out of their
message services.
