The issue was not whether it could do *DS4 mode (which should be a given these
days, IMHO), but rather the issue the readability when it is in 27x132.  And
*that* is very much a font issue.  I've seen some 27x132 emulations that "work"
but do not meet Dan's criteria, which was:
