That depends if you save your savefile-data when you save to tape.
To save a savefile you need to specify it specific on your save commands.
But if the original system tell you thay are savefile only, that means you
did download them, but you didn't install (use) them on your origional
system.

Onderwerp: ptfs restored from scratch install.


We are replacing one 720 with another.

I just completed a scratch install of the SAVSYS from system A to B.  ( no
user libraries, folders, profiles yet )

When I run "dspptf" on both system I expect both displays to be identical.
But they are not.  On system A there are some ptfs that are status "save
file only".  These ptfs are missing from the restored to system B.

Any idea why ??  Will a complete restore restore my "save file only" ptf's
??
