You are in manual mode and system cannot find a console.
This is why it is stuck.

A6005004 is on the machine reading right now and the consoles just have
a cursor on the upper left

All we did was hit the white button when we got plugged back in

And all we did to power off was go into manual mode and then PWRDWNSYS

Look for the changing numbers on the control panel - if you are doing a
manual IPL (which you are) you'll need to go through the questionsand
answers on your console to boot up - what's displaying on your console
and control panel at the moment ??
