The Whole M36 is a single object to OS/400 so ...

1. Use SNADS on the OS/400 side and ODF on the M36 side to xfer the files
2. DDM can be setup
3. Use the tape drive, BACKUP using the M36 cmds and then restore via RSTS36xxx
cmds

Subject: *m36 file transfer

Where do the files in *m36 mode live?

Can these files be transferred to a PC with Client Access?

Do they need to be defined in DDM first?

Jerry
