Sounds like you might be using the IFS as a file share. If that is the
case you will need to setup guest support in netserver.
"If a User Profile is not found that matches the userid used
to access AS/400 NetServer, an optionally configurable guest
User Profile may be used. This guest would be previously
created by the AS/400 administrator with *SECADM special
authority, and MUST not have any special authorities. If
used for print serving, this user profile should have a
password and must be enabled for signon. The AS/400
NetServer user will not be prompted for this password when
requesting file and print services. The guest User Profile
allows AS/400 file and print sharing by users who otherwise
would not require an AS/400 User Profile."

========================
A little clarification.

I'm really not doing a FTP. I have the Verizon Phonebook on the IFS,
I have an executable that runs on the browser when you hit with a URL on
my Intra-net that displays the phonebook. If you are logged in - No
problem it displays (asks you whether you want to copy it to your C drive
or view it online).

For users that don't have a AS/400 signon(and/or Not Logged in) it asks
for a user profile and password.

We would like people on our Intra-net just to be able to display the
phonebook whether they have a User Profile or not.
