Group,

Yesterday we installed PASE on a system and we
are now seeing a very strange thing. The directory
QOpenSys duplicated itself many levels (hundreds?)
deep. Each level includes what appears to be a
complete set of bin, etc, qjava114tp, usr, var...
directories. We probably wouldn't have noticed
except that the /tmp directory was copied to each
level of the var directory and included a large jar file.
It looks like we have somewhere near 6G in 4000
directories containing 52,000 files under QOpenSys.

It looks like there may be a symbolic link pointing back
to itself. I can't duplicate or prove this, but that is the only
explanation I can come up with. Anyone have any
ideas on what may have gone wrong and how we
clean this mess up?

David Morris
