I am on V4R5 and have telnet client access over SSL working (thanks to archives
and redbooks)

But, Ops Nav won't connect with SSL turned on.

I found some info about service tables and I added those and restarted QSERVER,
but no good.

I saw the redbook that described how to make the certificate work for each
application, but I couldn't get there after the cert was
already created.

We are using an inhouse certificate.

Any ideas appreciated, thanks.
