Just do a DSPPTF and you should see it at the top of the screen -

                               Display PTF Status
                                                             System: S10A9892

We have a need to determine what version a system is
operating on for our clients. We have been told
that the first six positions of the QSS1MRI will
give us the value we need. But I dusted off the
spider webs and thought I remembered that the value
had to be manually updated during conversion.

The command suggested was:

RTVDTAARA DTAARA(*LIBL/QSS1MRI (1 6)) RTNVAR(&SS1LVL)

Yays/Nays??

Dan Rasch - because if the human species concentrated on the really
important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles!
IBM Certified twice....... but still a couple PTFs away from Nirvana.
