Opinions are opinions. Your opinion that Exchange is a good mail server has
yet to stand the test of time. So far, it is an error-ridden product with
poor stability, incredibly slow response times, and lacking full features of
most HTML e-mail packages today.

POP works and is cross-platform compatible. Suggesting that a
Microsoft-only solution is in any way an ideal solution seems very
politically incorrect on this list, but suggesting that Exchange is superior
to POP is just flame-bait on any list.

<SOAPBOX>

No, that isn't true when you use a "real" mail server that has SERVER side
processing. Please bear in mind that POP is not a real server-based e-mail
system. Exchange, and I assume Notes, support server-side processing which
would enable the "in-channel" to only have the messages that haven't been
filtered to a sub-folder.

I'm not targeting this comment at you specifically Leif, but why do people
believe that POP makes a good mail server? It sucks as mail servers go.
