I think that in the S/3 line of machines, the mod 6 was the early S/32
prototype. Built in keyboard and printer, no display.

The announcement materials used color depth to imply that the S/32 was a S/3
model 2.

I think that all of the other S/3 line of machines would allow a connection of
an IBM selectric typewriter as both a logging device and input.  You just had to
turn the 4 dials in the face of the CPU to indicate your input device.  You
could even pick 3741! ;)
