He said the next thing you know, people will be calling MS proprietary too.

Sort of made it sound like they shouldn't be called that.

90% of everything we use everyday can probably fall under the proprietary
label.  Proprietary is just another buzzword ... like "legacy".

"Blah blah blah ... use such and such to replace your legacy applications!"

Dude, the app you are trying to sell me is technically legacy too. :p

Just sort of silly, really.
