Have you tried using SNDNETF to send the *savf?

        Subject: SNDDST data files?

Hi all,
I'm trying to automate the daily send of data (3-5 pf's) from a remote
AS400
to the AS400 at the home office.
My plan (was) to
1. create a savf on the remote '400
2. do a SNDDST to email it "home"
3. FTP the savf to the home AS400
4. Restobj the data files

But, snddst gives the error: Non-database files are not supported

This is a temporary thing, so setting up direct communications is not an
option and I'd rather not depend on a person sending the data.

This is the snddst I have tried:
SNDDST TYPE(*FILE) TOINTNET((corbett@asresources.com))
DSTD('sndmsgf savfile') DOCFILE(SAVELIB/SAVEFILE)

Where am I going wrong, or is the whole plan a bad one?

TIA
