3 just boot up to a black screen for 5 seconds, the 4th doesn't generate
any screen output at all.
1 screen did generate the "don't turn off message", the other 3 simply
froze.
One point I feel I should make is that *NO* Network Station PTF's have
been loaded/applied since 28th November.

Steven,

Those NCs may still be OK. They only need a clean prom to load and boot
from. Check to see if you have the latest NC PTF. If you do, try a
restore of the /QIBM/ProdData/NetworkStation/proms/ directory on the
IFS.

However, if you are just not getting a boot, than that is a different
issue. Did the NC go into the black screen and say "Updating EPROM, do
not turn off" ?

Best Regards

|I have taken the prom images out of that directory, so
|hopefully no other NC will try and down load them. I suppose
|my dead 4 NC's are just paperweights now?
