Subject: crtdupobj not working

I'm updating our ERP for year end processing and running the following
command:

CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(F43121LL) FROMLIB(A731099CTL) OBJTYPE(*FILE) TOLIB(SXXXX)

And am receiving the following message:

" 0 objects duplicated. 1 objects not duplicated."

Previous to running this command I renamed the specific files in the target
directory so that they no longer exist in the target directory (I added 1
character to the name).I have verified that the called names exist, etc.
What stupid mistake am I making?

TIA

Dale
