I start and stop the ftp server on the as/400,  but you right the as/400 is
not involved.  I copied code from another application I did that did involve
it.  So thank you that is really dead code for this one.

Why are the RMTCMDs run? These start/end the FTP server on your AS/400, but
that server doesn't seem to be involved anywhere.
