I _may_ have a problem with this. Was jt warned to stop? Pete, did you send
private e-mail to jt first? Was jt given a chance to mend his ways? jt has
provided valuable contributions to this list in the past, and to censor him
without warning isn't appropriate. IF he was warned and didn't heed the
warnings then fine, he got what he deserved, but if not I think you have
gone beyond your position as list owner into list censor.

We've all posted useless posts in the past, many time driven by our human
desire to say "thanks." It's very hard to receive help and not say thanks.
There is a lot of knowledge out there to share, and if we create an
atmosphere on this list where people are afraid to share lest they not ask a
question "the smart way" or if they're worried that their post might get
them censored we'll all suffer as the value of this list goes down hill
rapidly.
