Ok, now you got me confused, what do you mean by 60,000 to 100,000
different images?
1) Do you mean a standard PO now with a pretty picture on the front. The
only thing changing are the text items - partner name/address and the
detail lines? Then you are talking about 1 image with different text.
2) Are you talking about a picture of each item appearing on the side next
to each line?

Please explain.

Rob,
I guess that is what has me so confused about this printing of images. I
want to print images on the fly and not have to go through a half hour of
gyrations each time an image is changed. The goal here is to be able to
print 60,000 to 100,000 different images at a crack in a batch process.

Am I asking for the impossible?

Or am I just following the wrong trail?

TIA

Ron

The PC is just for the original create. You can store the image on the 400
and never use the PC again. How were you planning on creating the image?

HI All,

I am working with some AFP printing and trying to insert images into the
spool file. From everything that I read it tells me to create a page
segment for the image file.

How do I create this on the 400? Everything I read about creating this
page
segment tells me about the AFP driver and inserting the image from a PC. I
don't want to be screwing around on the PC, I just want a generic page
segment that I can insert the image file path in the program as I am
printing it.

I have been browsing the Red Books and the Web. Does anyone know of any
books that I should be perusing to find some answers?

TIA
Ron
