Jill has model 250 V5.1 ... I do not think we knew that before.

It is my understanding that while IBM supports a variety of means of
connecting the system console on the various models, one thing that is not
supported is simultaneously on the same box all the different kinds of
connections.

Most people have either twinax console or PC console, and once they have one,
they cannot switch to the other, without IBM coming out & making a hardware
change.  Is model 250 any different from this traditional pattern?

Jill ... have you determined what kind of IBM tech support you have?
sometimes you can get an IBM CE to do this for you (hook up the system
console), depending on the nature of your tech support.
